Mighty Oaks is for older children who are ready to take on greater challenges, build practical outdoor skills, and develop leadership through nature-based experiences. Children will explore the forest through team projects, nature observation, creative problem-solving, wilderness-inspired activities, crafts, games, and stewardship projects that encourage responsibility and confidence. As children grow, so does their role within the Forest Friends community. Mighty Oaks participants are encouraged to ask questions, lead activities, work together, and deepen their understanding of the natural world through exploration and hands-on learning. This program is designed for children who are eager for adventure, enjoy working with others, and are ready to build confidence, independence, and a lasting connection with nature.
